Birthdays of children falling in any given month is celebrated collectively on the last saturday of every month in the selected government primary schools. Our interns organise art, dance, stories and music competitions as well as sport-related activities.
Students performing exceptionally well are suitably awarded to motivate them, and others, to do even better next time. In addition to being an educational experience, such activities cultivate fraternal instincts and curiosity making the overall school experience pleasant and alluring.
ICAREINDIA, a social non-government organization has been officially running a programme ANKURAM, since July 2015, aimed at transforming government primary schools by involving local community and youth with active support from school teachers and local district administration.
