Bhagidari is the other important pillar, and an extension of Ankuram. The overarching purpose of Bhagidari is to engender social progress through value based quality education by making the local community active partners in the process. More specifically, it aims to ensure regularity, increased enrolment, behaviour change and sustainable development by developing community groups through nukkad-nataks and chaupals, exposure tours and inner-development camps.We observed that parents are not very vocal about the issues concerning their children's education. So, to institutionalise forums of communication between community members, guardians and teachers, regular parent-teachers meetings and community assemblies are being organised.
