creativity is intelligence having fun. Our Interns, with special permission from the district administration, organised Summer Hobby Classes. These classes were about activities as varied as art, crafts, singing, dance, yoga, mehndi, rangoli, music, play and reuse of old items. The format was closer to play, than classes to keep the fun quotient high. In addition to learning how to do new things, it is expected to yield long term dividends such as increased confidence, dedication towards their work, concentration etc.

Annual day function are organized to showcase the talents of children studying in the selected government primary schools under the Ankuram programme. Parents as well as some eminent dignitaries are invited to witness some exceptional performances by young artistes. By organizing this programme, children develop many constructive qualities. In addition to rewarding standout performers, their parents are felicitated publicly as well. This is done in order to encourage them to be even more aware and motivated as far as the welfare of their child is concerned.
